During this November, the Olerex fuel enterprise will install the necessary equipment at a filling station on St.Petersburg highway and in December will open the possibility of refueling cars with biomethane.

CNG or compressed natural gas is intended for refueling both passenger cars and trucks, both private and commercial customers, the company’s press service told LETA / BNS.
“CNG is essentially a cost-effective alternative to liquid fuels. Our company starts selling biomethane obtained from 100% recoverable natural sources, ”explained Anton Shafrostin, head of the purchasing and logistics department at Olerex.
Along with the filling station in Tallinn, Olerex plans to open the same gas filling stations in Tartu next year and, in case of customer interest, to expand sales of CNG throughout Estonia.
The network of Olerex, the largest fuel retailer in Estonia, includes 98 full service stations as well as express filling stations throughout Estonia. The company, founded in 1994, is 100% Estonian capital and employs about 800 people.
